Asif Basra suicide: The Kapil Sharma Show fame Kiku Sharda expresses shock; says 'I completely adored him'

Actor Asif Basra allegedly died by suicide on Thursday at his palatial rented residence in Dharamshala. The 53-year-old actor's friends and colleagues from the industry are expressing shock over his sudden demise. The Kapil Sharma Show fame Kiku Sharda is shocked to hear about his death. He took to social media and wrote that he was very fond of him and adored him.
He tweeted, "This is shocking ,,,, i was very fond of him, the little work we did together , I completely adored him.Sad. RIP brother Asif."

Asif's body was found in his rented house where he was staying for nearly four years, the police said.
He committed suicide by hanging himself with a leash of his pet dog, Superintendent of Police Vimukt Ranjan told IANS.
As per the police, just before the alleged suicide, he had returned from a stroll in the locality along with his dog.
No suicide note has been recovered.
It has been learnt that Basra, who was under depression, was staying here with a British woman.
Known for his character roles in films like 'Black Friday', 'Parzania', 'Jab We Met' and 'Kai Po Che', among many others.
