HNLC, Ulfa rebels held

Shillong: Three rebels from Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) and one from Ulfa were arrested, and arms and explosives seized in the city on Friday.
Police said the four were planning to trigger an explosion in the city. The state police acted swiftly after receiving intelligence inputs about their entry.
Two AK 56, 1 with 105 live Chinese rounds, 9mm Mauser with 24 live 9mm rounds, 2 Improvised Claymore Explosives weighing 15.7 Kgs in 2 Claymore Boxes, 2 timer devices inside plastic spectacle boxes, 2 battery power sources, 1 Multimeter Voltage Tester were recovered from their possession.
