JODHPUR: After being saved from a suicide attempt as the last task of the lethal Blue Whale game on Monday night here, 17-year-old Class X girl again attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills on Tuesday. She was rushed to a private hospital, where she was shifted to the ICU.
According to the doctors of the hospital, she was out of danger but has been kept in ICU for profound examination of her vital organs.

“Her family members took her to hospital immediately. We admitted her to the ICU and provided the required treatment. She is out of danger but we have decided to keep her at the ICU to ensure that her vital organs are unaffected and are functioning properly”, said doctor K R Daukiya.
The X grader, a victim of the globally notorious Blue Whale game, had attempted to kill herself by jumping in the Kailana lake on Monday night to complete her Blue Whale Challenge.
She was, however, saved by persons present there and handed over to the parents with the help of the police on the same night. During her rescue, she had resisted attempts of the police to save her and had pleaded them not to stop her citing danger to the life of her mother.
According to doctors, she is still under the influence of the game and in a state of depression for having failed twice in completing the task.
Daukiya said that he tried to comfort the girl and that the hospital is preparing to begin counselling through a psychologist so that the girl could be taken out of the influence of the game to normalcy.

He said that when the girl was brought on Tuesday morning, she was quite stressed and was not opening up.
But after administering treatment, she became little normal and spoke about how she got into it.
He, however, added that it will be now the responsibility of her parents to handle the situation and ensure that she does not get into it again.
The girl, who is studying in a private school, had failed in the same class last year.
