Though Ranchi has been experiencing thunder squall every now and then during the entire pre-monsoon season this year, a sudden climatic change on Saturday threw life out of gear at many places. Heavy rainfall at isolated places and thunder squall not just brought down the mercury to comfortable level but caused damage to high standing advertisement boards, trees and electrical wires at different places. Traffic on National Highway 33 was disrupted because of trees being uprooted due to high speed wind.
