Geetha Govindam box office collection: Vijay Deverakonda-Rashmika Mandanna starrer storms box-office, enters 100 crore club

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's latest rom-com Geetha Govindam has been the flavour of the month, with the film receiving a massive thumbs up from the audience, who have been thronging to the theatres since its release on Independence Day. And now, the positive word-of-mouth has translated into tremendous box-office success, with the film entering the Rs 100 crore club on Monday.

Overseas too, Geetha Govindam has made its mark, with the film crossing $2 million in the US and emerging as the first-choice film for the audience. The film marks a third blockbuster in a row for Vijay Deverakonda after Pelli Choopulu (2016) and Arjun Reddy (2017). "Vijay Deverakonda has built a strong fan-base in USA... #GeethaGovindam is his first *solo lead* to cross $ 2 mn... The actor has two million dollar movies under his belt: #PelliChoopulu and #ArjunReddy... #Mahanati [$ 2.5 mn+] had Vijay in a key role, but was an ensemble cast. (sic)," Taran Adarsh added.
