West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee will conduct an aerial survey of the severe cyclone Bulbul hit areas around Namkhana and Bakkhali in South 24 Parganas district on Monday.

Two people died in separate incidents in Kendrapada, after the cyclonic storm Bulbul made landfall on Saturday midnight between Sagar Islands of West Bengal and Khepupara in Bangladesh, hurtling northeastwards into the neighbouring country over the Sunderban delta.

Instead of tomorrow, I would take an aerial survey of the affected areas around Namkhana and Bakkhali. West Bengal: 1 killed, 2 injured as tree falls over house in North 24 Parganas
A woman was killed and two others sustained injuries after a tree uprooted by high-speed winds fell over their makeshift house in North 24 Parganas on Sunday. Another man died in a separate incident in Basirhat city, located near the bank of Ichamati River.The mishaps took place in the morning today.
The city was pounded by steady rain accompanied by strong winds as cyclone Bulbul approached land, finally hitting Sagar Island around 8.30pm and then swerving northeast towards Khepupara in Bangladesh.
