International beauty queen Annanya to foray into Tollywood

Annanya Soni, winner of Miss India Australia International 2015 and Miss Asia World 2016, is set to foray in Tollywood with director Sriram Aditya’s multi-starrer Shamanthakamani. “I’ve acted in short films, commercials and plays earlier, but this film is going to be my proper acting debut. I have a very strong role,” says an excited Annanya adding, “I’m happy to be part of a film with talented actors like Sundeep Kishan, Sudheer Babu, Nara Rohith, Aadi and Rajendra Prasad sir.”
Touted to be a crime-comedy, this film will have Annanya playing a glam role.“Sudheer Babu plays my friend who takes me to a party. What all happens from then on that night forms the crux of the film,” reveals Annaya who plays love interest of Sundeep Kishan. “I play a girl who’s from a rich family so I’ll be seen sporting glamourous attires. I can totally relate to the character as I’m used to wearing stylish stuff all the time,” adds Ananya smiling.
The shooting of the film has already kick-started and this Punjabi girl is having a fun time with the huge cast and crew. “It’s fun to work with such a huge star cast and learn from senior actors like Rajendra Prasad, who helps you with your lines and how to face the camera. Moreover, I’m trying to learn Telugu from the dialogues I get in my script and I keep asking everybody around what does this mean to have the correct emotions,” she says signing off.
