KumKum Bhagya update, July 27: Will Rahul marry Maya?

In the latest episode of Kumkum Bhagya, we find Pallavi chit-chatting with 'beeji' about the guests. Pallavi feels that the only one who could potentially break this marriage is Maya. Pallavi thinks too high of herself and is a self-proclaimed great mother-in-law for Maya.
Beeji has no faith in Pallavi’s acting skills and decides to play the part herself. Pallavi agrees. She wonders about Prachi as she couldn’t find her in the celebration.
Prachi and Shahana sneak into Rahul’s bedroom. Rahul catches them but cannot recollect who they are. Rahul mocks them and says that the two are no celebrity that anyone would remember them.
Ranbir is daydreaming about Prachi when his thoughts are interrupted by Maya. He is glad that Maya did not meet his maa till now, because he knows how furious she is. He recalls an episode where Pallavi threatened to slap Maya, and thanks his star that such a day did not arrive yet. Maya finds Ranbir extremely sweet.
Dushyant and family finally arrive and are greeted cordially by Pallavi, who is fuming with anger. She loathes Maya. Ranbir feels Pallavi takes Maya to show her around. Dushyant calls Ranbir, who feels tortured in this whole family circus, he wishes Maya was present with him.
Meanwhile, Prachi tries to explain the whole situation to Rahul. Shahana tells him that after he got drunk, he left the door open. Rahul admits that he was drunk. Prachi then invites him for sangeet. She reveals the whole situation and explains how this marriage is not happening wilfully. She knows that Rahul is head over heels in love with Maya and convinces him that she actually reciprocates the same. They take him for a ride and convince him that Maya would actually be depressed and might take her own life if she is not with the love of her life.
Rahul is convinced to end the forceful marriage between Maya and Ranbir. He agrees whole heartedly to attend the sangeet. Prachi conveys this good news to Ranbir. He is on cloud nine and cannot wait to end this forceful marriage. Their plan was simple, after Maya would see her first love Rahul in front of her eyes, she would break the bond with her current lover Ranbir which would eventually end the marriage.
Sarita Bhabhi enquires Pragya about the man who was with her in Mehrouli house. She had seen the two in intimate positions, hugging each other. Pragya reluctantly tells her that it was Prachi’s dad who was drunk and needed support. Pragya feels that Mr Mehra will find someone suitable, to which Sarita Behen says that there is nobody more suitable than her.
Abhi refuses to attend all the forceful ceremonies and tries to leave in the name of meeting and work. Vikram tries to convince him to stay, but Abhi is not someone who can be convinced easily. He couldn’t understand why Ranbir would not allow him to take any stand for him. Vikram tells him that Ranbir was never so close to him that he would confide in him. Abhi advices Vikram to overlook Ranbir’s mistakes so that it is easier to form a bond between the two. Vikram speculates that Abhi knows something about Ranbir that he is unaware about.
Prachi and Shahana inform Pragya and Sarita Behen about Rahul and how he has agreed to attend sangeet. Everyone is delighted to hear this news. They then decide to buy some gifts for the couple, so that no one could presume that they were against this forceful marriage.
Dushyant suspects Prachi as he is convinced that her intentions are malicious. He feels that she could potentially cancel Maya’s wedding.
