Ali Asgar mourns late friend Ashiesh Roy’s demise, writes ‘You will be missed’

Industry woke up to the news of Sasural Simar Ka fame Ashiesh Roy’s sudden demise. Ashiesh Roy (55), who had been keeping unwell during the lockdown was suffering from kidney ailment, breathed his last at his house.

The actor’s Jeannie aur Juju co-star Ali Asgar shared some stills from their working days and wrote, “Rest in peace my Friend… you will be missed Aashish Roy.”

TV actress Navina Bole shared on Instagram, “RIP Ashish!! We werent the best of friends but your talent and energy were undeliable! I pray you are in a happier place.”

Ashiesh had been admitted to a Juhu hospital on a couple of occasions in the recent past, complaining of water retention. He was undergoing dialysis but had run out of money. In May, the actor was admitted to ICU. He had taken to his Facebook account to share the news and also asked for financial assistance from his well-wishers through the platform.
