Ali Asgar mourns late friend Ashiesh Roy’s demise, writes ‘You will be missed’

Industry woke up to the news of Sasural Simar Ka fame Ashiesh Roy’s sudden demise. Ashiesh Roy (55), who had been keeping unwell during the lockdown was suffering from kidney ailment, breathed his last at his house.
Amit Behl Senior Joint Secretary of CINTAA had confirmed the news.
The actor’s Jeannie aur Juju co-star Ali Asgar shared some stills from their working days and wrote, “Rest in peace my Friend… you will be missed Aashish Roy.”

TV actress Navina Bole shared on Instagram, “RIP Ashish!! We werent the best of friends but your talent and energy were undeliable! I pray you are in a happier place.”

Security guard of the Pataliputra building in Jogeshwari where Roy resided picked up and informed ETimes TV, "Ashiesh saab died at 3.45 am last night.His servant came running down and said he had a couple of big hiccups and collapsed. Unka health problem toh chal hi raha tha but the servant said he was quite okay yesterday. In fact, he was supposed to undergo a dialysis today, too. "
Ashiesh had been admitted to a Juhu hospital on a couple of occasions in the recent past, complaining of water retention. He was undergoing dialysis but had run out of money. In May, the actor was admitted to ICU. He had taken to his Facebook account to share the news and also asked for financial assistance from his well-wishers through the platform.
