Karnataka legislative council deputy chairperson and senior BJP leader
Vimala Gowda died of a heart attack at Narayana Hrudayalaya here on Monday.
Gowda, 63, was admitted to the hospital in March and had heart-related ailments and breathing problems.She was a three-time council member.
The last rites will be performed here on Wednesday .She is survived by her husband and two sons.

Vimala had been associated with the party for a long time. She had shouldered various organisational responsibilities and had served party exceptionally well.
