Fugitive Lalit Modi takes to Twitter, attacks Congress over 'corruption'
NEW DELHI: Former IPL commissioner and fugitive Lalit Modi , who had earlier threatened to sue Congress president Rahul Gandhi for his remark that "all thieves share the surname Modi", took to Twitter to attack the Gandhi family again, saying that they "invented the art of scamming the nation".
Modi, who is facing money-laundering charges, is currently in the United Kingdom and the Enforcement Directorate is trying to extradite him.

On Monday, Modi tweeted a 1.17 minute video on corruption and wrote, "Here are some of the majors #scams done by the #gandhifamily @rahulgandhi @iamsoniagandhi and now they shouting from the rooftops as if #scams are a new thing. THEY INVENTED THE ART OF SCAMMING AND R***** OUR NATION over the past 50 plus years."
The Twitter attack started on Friday with Lalti Modi saying he will take Rahul "to court in the UK" in one of his tweets.
In another tweet, he wrote, "The little #papu @rahulgandhi says "ALL MODI'S are CHOR'S. It's like claiming all 'Gandhi's are "MAHTMA"... @narendramodi."

Modi, who generally tweets on IPL and cricket, has been addressing the Congress president as #Papu in his tweets, and also been tagging PM Narendra Modi in many of his tweets.
"The little #papu @rahulgandhi says "ALL MODI'S are CHOR'S. It's like claiming all 'Gandhi's are "MAHTMA". But reality is starkly different as we know it. In fact the biggest "CHOR'S" are the "GANDHIFAMILY" who think it's their #birth right to own and #loot. @narendramodi," he wrote on April 20.
