Mollywood bids farewell to Thampi Kannanthanam
The sense of loss was evident during the funeral held on Thursday
Prominent director Thampi Kannanthanam’s demise on October 2 has left a void in the Malayalam film industry.
The sense of loss was evident during the funeral held on Thursday, at the Town Hall, Kochi. Mayor Soumini Jain, MP KV Thomas and Hibi Eden consoled the deceased director’s family. Among those who attended were directors Padmakumar, Joshy, Sibi Malayil, Blessy, Siddique, Jibu Jacob, Madhupal and actors Kalabhavan Shajohn, Manoj K Jayan, Ramesh Pisharody and many others.
