Kongad MLA K V Vijayadas passes away
Kongad MLA and CPM Palakkad district secretariat member K V Vijayadas (61) died at Thrissur medical college hospital on Monday night. He was in a critical condition for a week and an emergency brain surgery was conducted to remove a blood cloating on Sunday.

THRISSUR: Kongad MLA and CPM Palakkad district secretariat member K V Vijayadas (61) died at Thrissur medical college hospital on Monday night. He was in a critical condition for a week and an emergency brain surgery was conducted to remove a blood cloating on Sunday.
He was admitted to the hospital on December 11 after he tested positive for Covid-19. He recovered from the infection but developed post-Covid complications.Hospital sources said he was not reacting to medicines.
He had won Kongad assembly seat in 2011and 2016. He is survived by wife V Premakumari and two children.
