Actress and TV host Subi Suresh passes away in Kochi

KOCHI: Popular actress and TV host, Subi Suresh, passed away in Kochi on Wednesday.
She was under treatment for liver and heart-related ailments at a private hospital in Aluva. Her health condition was deteriorating for the last few days and she was under ventilator support.
Subi was popular among the family audience through her versatile performances in TV comedy shows, serials and stage shows.
'Kutippattalam' was one of the popular TV shows of Subi. Recently in a TV show Subi had announced that she is going to be married in the coming months.
She was born in Tripunithura in Kochi. She completed her schooling in Radcliffe School in the city and then she joined St Teresa's College, from where she completed her graduation.
'Cinemala', a popular Malayalam comedy television series was her first popular show. She also appeared in popular Malayalam TV serial 'Thaskara Lahala' in 2010.
The movie 'Kanakasimhasanam' directed by Rjasenan was the debutant movie of Subi. She also appeared in the movies 'Elsamma Enna Aankutty', 'Panchaarnathatha' , 'Drama' etc and she has also worked in many popular TV shows and performed in many stage shows abroad.
Many eminent personalities from various walks of life including the actors Suraj Venjaramood, Dileep, Sunny Wayne, Vidhu Vincent, Honey Rose, Asif Ali, Tiny Tome condoled the death of Subi Suresh.
