Popular dubbing artist and actress Anandavally passed away. The 62-year-old actress, hailing from Kollam, was undergoing treatment for her prolonged illness before she breathed her last on April 5 (Friday) at Trivandrum.
The award-winning dubbing artist has lent her voice to many popular actresses in movies and television shows. In 2015, Anandavally has won the Kerala State Television Award for the 'Best Dubbing Artist' for the then popular show 'Eeshwaran Sakshiyayi'.
Recently, Anandavally was seen in a supporting role in the show the 'Neelakkuyil'.
The actress was essaying the character Muthashi, the grandmother of the main protagonist Aadhi, in the show.
Apart from television, Anandavally is one of the popular dubbing artists in Malayalam entertainment industry. She made her acting debut in Malayalam cinema in 1973, but she gained popularity as a dubbing artist with the movie 'Devi Kanyakumari'.
