Regal Beloit announces new technology center in Pune

PUNE: Regal Beloit Corporation, usually referred to as Regal, which is a manufacturer of electric motors headquartered in Beloit, Wisconsin – announced setting up its new technology center at Pune.
The new Global Technology Center is located in Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi and is home to 90 engineers and technicians. The facility supports new product development as well as engineering support and software development for Regal’s power transmission customers worldwide.
Regal Beloit has another global technology center in Hyderabad, and manufacturing operations in Faridabad and Kolkata. Together these facilities design, develop and manufacture electric motors for Regal's Climate Solutions and Commercial and Industrial Systems customers worldwide. Regal has over 1,200 employees in India.
The company comprises three business segments - climate solutions, commercial and industrial systems and, power transmission solutions.
