Kunchacko Boban and Manju Warrier to headline Lijo Jose Pellissery’s next!

After ‘How Old Are You?’ and ‘Vettah,’ Kunchacko Boban and Manju Warrier are reuniting. The duo have been reportedly cast as the lead characters in an upcoming film directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. Yes, that’s right. If reports are to be believed, the production of the movie is set to commence shortly! The official confirmation regarding the same is yet to be announced.
It is worth mentioning that Kunchacko Boban and Manju Warrier share a great rapport, both on and off the screen. Back in 2014, when Manju Warrier was making her second innings in movies, she teamed up with Kunchacko Boban for ‘How Old Are You?’ directed by Rosshan Andrrews. The film featured Kunchacko Boban and Manju Warrier as a married couple. Its inspiring narrative, brilliant performances, and relevant social theme won both audience appreciation and the attention of the critics. ‘How Old Are You?’ tells the story of a middle-aged woman's journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and personal growth. Following that, in 2016, the duo teamed up for ‘Vettah,’ a crime mystery thriller.
Meanwhile, Lijo Jose Pellissery is currently working on ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban.’ The upcoming film will feature Mohanlal in the lead role. ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’ was shot in Rajasthan, and the release is slated for January 2024. The post-production works of the film is progressing, and the makers recently dropped a glimpse, which added to the anticipation.

On the other hand, Kunchacko Boban is now waiting for the release of ‘Chaaver,’ helmed by Tinu Pappachan. The promos were launched recently, and it has generated a significant amount of buzz. The star is currently said to be filming an Amal Neerad project. Whereas, Manju Warrier’s recent outing was ‘Vellari Pattanam.’
