The sexiest women, says Bejan Daruwalla, are from Venus, but when looking into his crystal ball, he sees that 2016 has a little something in it for all the ladies out there.
At 85, Bejan Daruwalla is more optimistic than cynical. In 2017, says the renowned astrologer, the world will chance upon a peace that will last six years. There's obviously something Nostradamus-like about his macro forecasts, but the octogenarian, we found, was far livelier when he channelled his Linda Goodman.The first week of January is perhaps the best time to catch up with someone who likes staring into the crystal ball. His yearly predictions, voiced with great confidence, seem to carry more weight than our flimsy resolutions. Daruwalla, of course, soon decided that his audience must comprise of women, and women alone.
"For Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn and Pisces," he says in his trademark boom, "marriage is on the cards, but what they'll do with their husbands, I don't know.
"His advice to men is simple ­ stop trying to understand women. "Love marks a woman's existence. Show that you love her in 1,000 ways. She'll fall for one of those methods and you'll get her.
"Taken by his avuncular manner, we asked him to tell us what 2016 had in store for women, one star sign at a time.
Aries
It doesn't matter if you are married or single, you're great around the house and your home will always be tidy. Work, for you, will remain more important than love. But even though love comes second for you, expect your many fires to kindle after October.

Taurus
This is the right time for you to have children. I'd say you should even opt for surrogacy if you have to. The year 2016 is a great year for motherhood, creativity and entertainment.
