15 security personnel killed in IED blast by Maoists in Gadchiroli

At least 15 security personnel were injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast carried out by the Maoists in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district on Wednesday. Earlier in the day, Maoists torched at least 25 vehicles of a road construction company in Gadchiroli district, police officials said.

NAGPUR: At least 15 security personnel were killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast carried out by the Maoists in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district on Wednesday.
The blast took place at Lendhri pool around 6km from Kurkheda in north Gadchiroli.
Earlier in the day, Maoists torched at least 25 vehicles of a road construction company in Gadchiroli district, police officials said.
The targeted vehicles were engaged in construction works for the Purada-Yerkad sector of NH 136 near Dadapur village.
