Naina Singh reveals the person she misses the most in team ‘Kumkum Bhagya’

“I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” This quote by American poet-activist Maya Angelou is so overused that it might sound cliched, but it aptly sums up Naina Singh’s state of mind these days. The actress, who portrayed Rhea Mehra in ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, quit the show a couple of months ago, but she has been missing one person from the team quite a lot.And no, it is not any of her co-actors — including the lead pair, Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia — but her ‘hair didi’ who holds a special place in Naina’s heart.
She shares, “I have always been close to my crew, be it my hair and make-up artiste or my spot dada. Shabana Azim Shaikh, my hair didi from ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, is an exceptionally sweet woman. We had hundreds of things to talk about each morning; we enjoyed our samosa sessions and she was the key witness to my crazy vanity van dances before I used to get ready. Above everything, she was my biggest support and a motherly figure to me on the set. So yes, my hair didi will be missed the most, as I have a lot of fond memories of our conversations.”
Ask her the one thing she misses the most about her hair didi, and she replies, “Her innocent face and her patent style of asking questions. Also, she is really good at her work.”
Naina had left ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ a few months ago due to creative dissatisfaction, but has confessed multiple times that the character will always remain close to her heart.
