ALLAHABAD: At a time when the relation between India and Pakistan are not at its best, an eminent dentist of the Sangam city, Dr Sandeep Singh, is visiting the neighbouring country, to teach 100 odd dentists of Pakistan the fine intricacies of dental surgery and implant. He will share the dais with world renowned dentists from Korea and Greece.
Set to participate at the international conclave on Piezo surgeries, growth factor and facial esthetics, Dr Singh would address the dentists from across the globe in the three-day conclave being held in Karachi.
He would share the dais with Dr Dong-Seok-Sohn of Korea and Dr Cheopatra Nacopoulos from Greece. The conclave starts on July 29.
“On the first day, we would be showing the hands on working, to be followed by two days of lectures on various topics related to the subject of the conclave,” said Dr Singh who reached Karachi on Thursday. I was a bit apprehensive after getting the invite in early June but a conclave, such as this, is a platform where expertise can be exchanged which would help millions of Pakistani besides improving the relation between the two countries, what if on a smaller scale, he added.
Dr Singh, after landing in Karachi on Thursday, said, “After reaching Karachi, I got an overwhelming welcome right from the immigration officials and later Amir Ejaz, Dr Irfan Qureshi and several others from the dental fraternity of Pakistan were there to welcome me. It is amazing hospitality and shows the great bonding between the common men of the two countries”.
