Cops to keep a tab on activities of people related to Bahiyyu Maharaj
Indore: Police have almost completed the investigation in Bhaiyyu Maharaj suicide case. Statements of 20 people have been recorded in the case till now.
Officials involved in the line of investigation on Tuesday said that activities of all the ‘sevadaars’ of Bhaiyyu Maharaj was being monitored and all their moves were being tracked by them.
Most of the people, who closely interacted with Bhaiyyu Maharaj, have been questioned by police.
They said they had no idea that he was upset or depressed to an extent that he would commit suicide.
Cops also learnt during investigation that Bahiyyu Maharaj was upset because of the activities at his trust. “Someone close to him had betrayed him,” said police. Also, the helpers had said that they knew about the family dispute between Bhaiyyu Maharaj’s second wife Aayushi and his daughter Kuhu.
On these lines, the police have now decided to keep a tab on all the activities of the people related with Bhaiyyu Maharaj. Their call details are also being tracked, said police. The recorded information will be tallied with the statements given by them.
Police have till now investigated all the angles, including family disputes and property related, trust and health problems, in the case. While family dispute came out as the predominant reason behind the case, officials are leaving no stone unturned in investigating all possible angles. The CCTV footage of the house in Silver Springs Township was also looked into.
Police have till now questioned Kuhu, Aayushi, Bhaiyyu Maharaj sisters Madhumati alias Renu and Aradhna and his aides Manohar Soni, Shekhar Sharma, Anil Pardeshi, Raja Badjatia, Amol Chavhan, Sanjay Yadav, Geeta, Praveen, Yogesh, Vinayak, Rani Sharma, Chhaya, Saroj, Rajendra Panwar, Golu and Atul Sharma.
