72 seats in Chhattisgarh go to polls tomorrow
RAIPUR: Campaigning for the second and final phase of polling in Chhattisgarh ended at 5 pm on Sunday. Seventy-two constituencies spread across 19 districts will go to polls on Tuesday, when 1,53,85,983 voters, will cast their votes.
The highest number of electorates at 3,33,240 are in Kasdol constituency and the lowest at 1,31,273 are in Manendragarh.
As many as 1,079 candidates will try their luck on the political pitch.
The highest number of candidates at 46 are in fray in Raipur South constituency and the lowest at six in Bindranawagarh.
A spokesperson for the election office said elaborate arrangements had been made in all constituencies and that 19,262 polling booths had been set up.
