When will PM Modi offer transparent governance as Stalin does in Tamil Nadu: Dayanidhi Maran

CHENNAI: DMK Lok Sabha member from Central Chennai Dayanidhi Maran on Tuesday said Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin is offering transparent governance, especially with the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund. Maran wondered when will Prime Minister do the same with the PM Cares Fund.
“Hon’ble #CMofTamilNadu, Thiru @mkstalin is transparent with the people & takes them along in the process of governance.#TNCMPRF sources & #Corona expenditures are open to the public, as they should be. When will PM Modi do the same for #PMCaresFunds?,” Dayanidhi Maran tweeted.
Maran tweeted in the wake of a state government statement which said the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund had received Rs 69 crore as donations till May 17, 2021. Out of the Rs 69 crore, the state government had spent Rs 50 crore towards Covid pandemic measures. Of this, Rs 25 crore was spent towards procuring remdisivir and other drugs for the treatment of Covid positive patients and another Rs 25 crore was spent towards acquiring containers for transporting oxygen from other states, the statement said.
