Poor rainfall in dams, stock will last 30 days
Sparse rainfall was reported near the dams even on Saturday.The maximum rainfall of 18mm was recorded at Temghar, followed by Varasgaon (13mm), Panshet (12mm) and Khadakwasla (3mm).

Sparse rainfall was reported near the dams even on Saturday. The maximum rainfall of 18mm was recorded at Temghar, followed by Varasgaon (13mm), Panshet (12mm) and Khadakwasla (3mm).
Besides the city dams, the remaining 20 dams in the Bhima basin did not receive much rain on Saturday. The highest rainfall of 29mm was recorded in the catchments of Mulshi, followed by 27mm at Vadivale dam.
Only Mulshi and Ujani have registered more than 100mm rainfall in June, so far. The stock in Pavana dam, supplying water to Pimpri Chinchwad, reached 1.01TMC (11.91%) on Saturday.
